Mismanagement and monitoring of medication by neurologist causes permanent neurological, cognitive, and motor skill damage to 46 year old
Our client was a patient with epilepsy treated by Defendant, Dr. Towers who was supposed to be managing and monitoring the Plaintiff’s prescription of anti-seizure medication, Dilantin. Due to Dr. Tower’s failure to monitor and keep our client’s blood levels within the standard of care to avoid blood toxicity, the Plaintiff has suffered severe phenytoin toxicity to his spinal cord and brain causing neurological, cognitive, motor skill and physical damages (extensive tooth and gum decay, blood clots, double vision, falling, vertigo, kidney lesions, skin issues, loss of vision and eye issues among other symptoms).
This case is pending in DuPage County, Illinois.
